Hello, Chive!! Oh, I tell you...of all the 3 dogs we've had since we were married, none of them has been as affectionate as this little Doxie. I can see why they're favourites of little old ladies, lol, although I didn't know that when I fell in love with her on Kijiji....but this little old lady is absolutely in love with her, too...!

Oh, Chives...you can never offend me, Hon...yes, there is a certain peace and there are times I absolutely know she's sharing one of our usual giggles when I'm shopping and I find something that would normally keep us in stitches for far too long...I miss her so much, shopping alone isn't as much fun and although my wonderful husband will take me and go with me anywhere and sit patiently and read or keep me company while I shop, it's still not the same. Would you believe I still, for a split second, want to reach for the phone to call her about something?
I'll be performing her memorial service in Toronto on Nov 6th for her family..maybe I'll be able to really say good-bye then and know she's gone..

Good morning to YOU, Chives! As for things being "spiffy" around here, I guess you could say they are...beautiful sunny days, not much to do but play with our puppy...everyone's healthy and happy, thank God, so all's well with the world. Although I can't believe we're half-way through August!!

Well hello, my Friend!
So busy today....SUPERBOWL DAY!!! It felt like Christmas Eve last night...lol...now it's tidying the house for our best friends coming for dinner....prepared as much as I could yesterday .... by BFF is bringing stuff, too....so it'll be too much cheering, too much food and perhaps a little too much wine for me...lol!
