  17. Thanks for sharing your story with me, Natalka. I’m glad to hear your sister has recovered and hope that is the last of it for her. And I hope your brother-in-law’s treatment proves successful.

It’s scary enough hearing a diagnosis of cancer but when you’ve lost both your mom and dad to the disease it must be terrifying. My thoughts are with you and your family, Nat - especially with it being the anniversary of losing both your parent this month. Be well, and take care. Silk
  18. Thanks so much for caring, Silk.
It's my oldest sister (68) who had colon cancer, she had surgery about a month ago. It was caught early so she doesn't require any further treatment and she's recovered well. The husband (65) of my second-oldest sister has a mass between his esophagus and stomach, and he continues to do chemo but is doing pretty good now.
I'm the fifth kid of six, I'm 55. CA is just gross in general, but it hits us siblings all really hard since it took both our dad and mom at 66 and 69 respectively - nine years apart, 29 and 20 years ago - and this week in Feb., yet.
    Sigh...
