oh gosh!! You are brave!! I am so glad the house did not blow up ( insert nervous laugh here) and your great sale priced bacon is now processed! I am STILL hoping to snag some more $1.00 bags of tomatoes from the WM reduced cart, but man it is sure tough to hit there right when they wheel it out, it's always a different time every day. Good luck with other foods you will do in your new pressure canner.
  2. Arrived in Florida around 3pm get to hotel around 4:15. Super hot and sunny. Get a snack and frozen drink by pool and suddenly the clouds start rolling in, they clear the pool by 5:30 huge rain thunderstorm. I think we brought the rain with us! Oh well good excuse to gave a nap after a long day of travel! Have a good week!

can you believe I am already fretting what I will use after they are used up? I never liked the sheets, could never time the liquid to catch the rinse cycle. I actually have use those small blue plastic dryer balls and I liked them, but they don't address the static cling issue as well as Bounce. sigh.....

I know! ( about the cost of eating vegetarian/vegan/healthy/gluten fee etc ) It is as if the manufacturers are punishing anyone trying to go " against the grain " ( pardon the pun ). Same when I was juicing, I always tried to find the best sales for kale, spinach and other things ( never mind organic, could not afford that ) but the fridge seemed packed up, then I'd juice, fridge was empty and everything was reduced to 2 jugs of liquid...ha ha!!
Right now I am on a green tea binge trying to get back to my weight loss plan. I like to steep it in this massive Corningware coffee pot ( it is more than 2 L I'm sure ) chill it, then I sip it cold all day with lemon and stevia.....or as my DH calls it " boring! " have a great w/e!!

    haha ~ weirdos
My roomate told me that the other day he passed someone in our condos hallway who was wearing pajama pants and he says to this random stranger "So, just getting back form Walmart?" LOL
The dude actually laughed apparently and said, embarrassedly that he had been lazy and had just ran to the corner store. hahaha

Read of your good PC Plus offers this week-hope in-store gives you more points to make the trip even better! May your favourite cashiers be on duty as well!

yes, the thing is to always say " wonder what next week will bring? " The PLUS for me is I just do not spend on those lousy offer weeks. I'll show THERM! ha ha

sadly last night I just ran out of UMPH! ( after doing all the veg chopping and other prep ) wow, but still I managed to make up pickled beets and zucchini relish before I went to bed. I got up early today, reheated both large vats of sauce, got the jars sterilizing inside, filled them and carted them out to my BBQ for the boil bath. Him and I have become fast friends these last 2 days, lol. Oh so funny too! I had to wake Dh from his slumber as the propane ran out! We had a full tank backup though because of that power failure at Xmas time. He does the changing of the tanks not
    " chicken " me. lol

Smartfood? as in popcorn!? Oh my!! I remember DH was a binge eater of that stuff ( over 10 years ago I think ) and the price of it irked me too as I never couponed anything back then. Thank goodness we don't bring it home anymore, we'd never control ourselves either.

That's funny, you're the 2nd person to notice that I've had so many problems with PC plus and to mention Holly's post hah. I cannot believe that they'll give one person bonus points for the inconvenience, meanwhile I have called and emailed them twice and they have ignored me and haven't given me basic points they promise. As soon as I get my points I am throwing my card out. Used to love going to Loblaws and now I avoid it like the plague because I can't believe the blatant disregard for customer service. I really only go now if I can get something for free (but now it's not even worth that because I have to call them 8 times before I can get the points to make the item free).

The other day my DH bought a box of Peak Freans fro $5.29!It's hard to predict his waves of cravings, and when he will get sick of stuff. At least i'm ahead of the curve on new products because I bring them home with some deal before he even notices a new product is on shelves yet hahaha.

    Happy week to you!
