The army corp of engineers (geniuses that they are) decided they would clear the rubble from
below the American Falls back in 1969. When they eventually diverted the water and lowered
their 'heavy duty' equipment to the rocks below they finally realized the enormity of the task
and quickly turned the falls back so the whole world would stop laughing at them.
