6 - cold !! Just like the Jays lately.

I cannot even do a recycle grab anymore because the bins are too huge, their on wheels and with giant lids on them. A person would look ridiculous trying to search one of their neighbours bins now. Hopefully I am getting some raoked to me!!

Oohhhhhh, my favourite part in all the renovation shows I watch: the staging! The moving in of furniture, putting up pictures, setting up the deco items...Enjoy picking out your new furniture, TG! THIS is the fun part!! I recall you posting some pictures..or do I? I hope you can post some when it's all done....just make sure we can find them; I can be such a goof trying to find things on here!

Hi, TG!! Thank you for the wine rep, , I've been SO good for the past couple of weeks, avoiding the stuff, but now that the pillow is done, I really needed it to celebrate. It's one thing doing something for oneself, but whoa the stress of doing something for someone else, and esp a wedding pillow?!! I think I was more stressed than I could have imagined. Now on to the Christmas stocking for their little girl, same fabric, from her great-grandmother's wedding gown, just a keepsake more than anything else. Now the stress is on to make that look nice. Why did I decide on another project?!

And how are things in your corner of the works, Sweets?

it was VERY hot here; with humidex, it hit 47. I was going to cut my lawn, but no way.

I know that feeling. It was a nice w/end, weather wise, to close up, but hate to see the summer winding down. Where is your cottage? Ours was just north of Halliburton, and we always closed up after the long Thanksgiving w/end. I miss it so much, but had to let it go after my DH passed.

No charges and the police have not really followed up with her, when it happened she was asked if she would charge them. She was honest and said she was unsure she could go through facing them but this was just a couple of days after it happened in her second interview and she was very traumatized, as soon as she said she was unsure they told her not to hold her breath. She actually saw one of the men working at a gas station and came home hysterical and left a message with her constable and was never contacted. With the oil crash our City is a hot bed of drugs and crime, the store a half a block from us was robbed at gun point last week and it took over an hour for the police to respond. Her doctor in emerg that did the rape kit said she processes roofie related rapes regularly. Sick, sick Sick.

Glad she's handling it okay - but, geez, I'm angry FOR what happened. Did anyone get charged?
