Thanks, that's my azalea; they grow well here and have such vibrant colors. My New Years resolution: to accomplish more than I did in 2012, lol. Do you have one?
I find the instructions for making yogurt in this link helpful: http://www.homemadeginger.com/2009/1...wn-yogurt.html I heat the milk up on the stove instead, but I guess the microwave would work too. There are different ways to incubate the yogurt. I just put the jars on a heating pad set to medium and leave them overnight. The skim milk powder is optional. But it does thicken the yogurt to make it more the consistency of store-bought yogurt. It also increases the calcium and protein without adding calories.
thanks for the rep ,here is how i make yogurt i put the milk in the non stick pot on medium heat and i don't stirr , leave it till it boils.turn off the heat and i pour the milk into another pot and leave it to get warm (i test it by putting my little finger and count to 10).then take the pot and put it in a warm place cover it with blankets and leave it for 7 hours i would say esp in winter.the more u leave it the tangier it gets. i don't leave it more bec i dont' like sour yogurt.then to make greek yogurt u simply strain it , i use paper towel and put it over night , in the morning u will end up with thick creamy yogurt almost like cream cheese. hope this was helpful for u.
You're welcome. It's quite touching isn't it?
