The best deal is the $3 for the General Mills Lucky Charms or Nesquick. They are the 680 - 775g boxes which are normally around $7. Even the smaller boxes (330g) are normally around $3.99. I thought getting one of the smaller boxes for $3 would be good, but when I found out it was the bigger boxes, I bought 3! lol

The free book promo is only available on the smaller boxes, 330g. This size is not on sale and at my No Frills sell for $3.99 a box.
I wasn't interested in the free book, just the cereal, so buying the big boxes at this price is a good deal for me.
