I know, people adding credit card bills and stuff on here..those are not freebies at all.

I got super marios bros for wii for my bf with my swagbucks amazon.ca gift cards, that's a freebie, cause I didn't pay anything for it.

Yesterday, a save.ca envie, today a yoptimal phamplet with a save $3 and a save $1 which I have no idea where that came from but a happy camper anyways! McCains was mentioned above, funny thing we had a bag of the regular Mccain fries over the holidays and it really tasted different.. it was not the Superfries.

Yes!!! the amazon order, and it totally looked like a video game too, in a skinny cardboard box, that or a small book.

you don't have a mailbox or any type of compartment that the mailman can put your book in?

I have a mailbox, but it's locked, so only the mailman can get to it. It's a mailbook compartment where everyone has their mailbox, ie not at my door, but in a separate area, if that makes sense. And there is no double door or anything on my door so yeah, all they can do is send it back to the post office for pickup later. So a lot of time, they just leave it on the doorstep (which isn't a good idea because when you go up the stairs to the doorstep there are three doors there to the units, one of which is mine, so you can easily just swipe it when going inside, too thing I know my neighbours and they are nice guys.

In my neighbourhood it's not a good idea to leave stuff on the door step, someone keeps "stealing" our cigeratte butts out of our cigeratte butt disposal thing (it's an empty bottle of wine). They will dump it all out on the front step and then take the butts out.. yeah gross and so shameless.

I think I know what you are talking about with the mailboxes.
We also have the same ones.
I live in a court and there is one main mail location with all the boxes.
If a parcel comes that is too large for our regular mailbox then the mail lady will leave one of 2 compartment keys (1A/1B) in the mail box. We use it to open up the larger compartment to get our parcel and then you just throw the key in the outgoing mail slot.

And yeah that is disgusting about the cigarettes.

No no, I do.... there is a wall downstairs in the lobby with all the mailboxes. But they only hold so much mail.... and/or sometimes the parcel is just too big to fit in it. So they just lean it against the wall. Not my regular mail carrier, he always buzzes me, we always talk and joke around, he wouldn't just dump it there. It's the temp mail carriers when he's on holidays, and Fedex and UPS people.

The other people in my building are pretty good, the guy across the hall has signed for packages for me when I haven't been home and then he just leaves it outside my door. I have no concerns about the other people in my building..... it's when it's just left downstairs where the mailboxes are. Any random person could just walk in and swipe it, and I would have no way of knowing who it was.

I wish we had one of those larger mailboxes for parcels, so they could like you say, shove a key in your box with a notice card so you can get it that way.

It's not like this? With the 2 bottom left compartments being for larger parcels?

    That would suck so much.
The worst I've seen was a week or two ago someone forgot to close theirs and it was left open for days.
