I just got a knock at the door and it was the mailman :) He came to thank me for the gift ( Dove choc bar). He said it was nice of me to give him a gift and that he usually doesnt receive anything. ( weird since I always give gifts to the mailman, recycling , and garbage men every year)
^ That's so nice of you! I left a gift for my mailman on Halloween and wrote a note thanking them for bringing my mail (this was when i was 14?) and I never got a reply back or anything :(

Yeah I usually leave a tip of around $40-$50 for my mail lady but she not been very good with her customer service this year (I am on mat. leave and she cards all my items even though I am home and she has to drive by anyways) ... I even called my boss ( I work for Canada post) and complained about her.... and I NEVER do anything like that especially to a co-worker but I was fed up... So needless to say she will not be getting a cash tip this year... maybe some chocolates or body wash /lotion.
