I bought 6 one time and it just went toward the rest of my purchases.I don't thing they would give you money back.It all depends on the cashier if they will take it or not.Some will just adjust the price of the coupon to $1.
Just give them 5 of the $2 coupons :P
They won't give you money back. And like ccmp1974 says they may adjust the coupon down to $1 or not take them at all depending on the cashier. The extra money would have to go to other purchases though. No store is going to give you money back.

well last week, I wanted to use 1 $2 coupon toward 1 can of glade and the cashier refused - she said the coupon amount is higher than the price of the glade so she can't except it. :( I'll just try again some other time.
