it wasn't meant for people to abuse i was just letting people know about the guarantee, and i see these kind of posts alot around here. so why is that causing such a problem?

Because there are a lot of people looking to make a buck however they can. And just by using the information you provided anyone can call and make a complaint and get 10 dollars back even if they did not purchase the product. So the offer will get abused, and make companies less likely to provide offers in the future for people who have legitimate complaints.

I think the product info and numbers etc should be removed. its fine leaving the info about the promotion so anyone with a legitimate complaint is aware of their options, however if it is a legitimate complaint they will have the upc and package numbers at home, which is why theres no reason for the numbers to be on here for anyone to abuse.
