Oh, I'm so sorry, Tweets....
The good thing for us will be it won't be hard to give them away, since they are going to be born 'off season'. I know how hard it can be to find a kitten at the 'wrong time' of the year! I know I will want to keep them all!!!

Oh, the last cat we had who had kittens had six - unfortunately one didn't make it past the birth... One of those kittens was Taffy, the one I've been writing about.
The one before that had only one kitten - very rare. Of course we were so worried that only one came, but the vet gave us the guidelines, and turned out it was just an unusual circumstance.

Sirius just joined our family mid-Aug.....I can't believe he let me dress him!!....I've never seen such a patient cat.

I also run my fingers along the spine, then along each shoulder, down each leg, then around each hip & down each leg. If I come across a tiny bump, I make note of it & check it throughout the day to see whether it gets bigger or smaller (they take after me in getting a small bump in the skin when they get a shot). & yes, I'm a bit obsessive. :P

I think your awesome. I had four cats but one "Spencer" passed away a couple of months ago. When he was taken to the vet, the doctor did all the things that you explain doing everyday. If I knew that sooner, I perhaps could have been quicker in addressing his illness. I know I can't prevent certain things, but after what I learned from the vet, and now from you, there will be daily check ups. For my dog too. My furry best friends want me to say THANK YOU! :top:

Bump! Natalka my cat is totally like a 2yr old! LOL I am looking at some cat toys and I need an opinion. I am looking at this one and wondering if anyone has anything similar and if the cats actually like it?

I am wondering if anyone has those circle tracks? Felix is always losing balls so I thought this would be good but would he still like chasing them if they are in a track?

I just want to add my Oreo has gone psyhco today. He has always been a clam cat meaning never to bite ect. and he was sitting on top of the couch and started grabbing my head putting his claws in trying to eat my hair, ding dong anyone home lol. He caught a mouse last night maybe it got to him, lol.

i've got 4..one of them is a big fat long hair orange tabby with 1 eye that i clip to give him a lion cut (hair just on head, feet/hock and tail) he looks so handsome. anywhoo, calvin stands up on his hind legs and licks his belly. always makes me laugh.

My mommy just got kitties, omg they're so cute!!! They're brother and sister, the woman we got them from didn't want to separate them because they were always together!

I just watched a segment on 20/20 about cat ladies. The one was rescuing cats and had hundreds! her house looked pretty sick. The one girl was pretty young, she had 16 or so and said that she can't hold onto a relationship because people see how she lives and leave. There was a doctor on there too talking about how cat rescue types are trying to compensate for lost family members or their own loss to fill a void etc.

I like cats, I have two, I think about getting more, but having hundreds in a small apartment and cat sh!t everywhere, that is bit much!
