Joshua and his cast, yes on top of the scratching pole. He doesn't seem to be letting it slow him down! He really wants to play but since he normally is doing leaps chasing the cat dancer, I'm not quite willing to let him give that a try!

well he managed to pull his cast off again! But it's been on for 5 weeks, he's putting weight on it, walking a little funny and sure loves the scratching post lol. I called the vet and they want to re-xray which I expected but I can't get in until Saturday! By then it won't matter much. Oh well.
I love how cats are always in boxes! Mine both loved Christmas because of all the boxes

I'm glad he's done well with it - Oh, I know with the boxes - I got two deliveries today, each with two boxes, our kitties are in box heaven!

Apollo hasn't been well lately. He's been off his food and is losing weight. I took him to the vet today and she thinks it's psychological. I think I may have changed his food too rapidly. He did eat tons of treats at the vet today, so that was encouraging.

Wow, Apollo is just a hunk-o-love! Hoping he's better soon!
The only time we had a cat lose weight was when we had two cats, one died, and the other was honestly in mourning for about six months - he stopped washing, barely ate, etc. It was really sad... but he got through it.

Update on Apollo. We tried him on an appetite stimulant over the weekend. No luck there, now he's in for an ultrasound. Sigh... What we go through for our furry babies!
