I have a few in my PM's that have asked for a trade, I answered, and then nothin'... just a simple 'no thank you' would do. :shrug:
that's true... very frustrating... i've experienced that lately... i sent message to her twice and asked if that certain coupons are available and i never heard back from her ...yes, saying "sorry not interested or a big NO" is enough... but i can't blame her because maybe that's the way she did to new members especially to members who are low in rating... as a saying goes "don't do unto others if you don't want others do unto you" ... i always reply all messages that i got because i know that they need answers...
even more frustrating when they repost: LF "the same thing i already offered you :rant:"

Most people are pretty good. When people have offered me trades that I didn't think were worth it for me, cuz let's face it, we are all different and looking for different things, I just explain how I would rather have the trade work (e.g. no sorry i won't send you $30 in coupons for 2 stamps, I'd rather . . . ) and say I hope we can trade in the future. I usually feel bad for saying that though. Why is that? Thinking about it now, it doesn't really make sense to feel bad :icon_scratch:
If they don't repond to my pm after 2 days:shrug: i just delete,there are lots of other people to trade with and i keep a list of these people so next time they want something from me.:tongue:I think you get the point.Just my 2 cents

The worse is when they don't reply to your PM but then decide to reply 4 - 5 days from now ..out of the blue , by then you have already traded with someone else as you had no clue that the person would reply after such a long delay :-(
I know that between double shifts, school, and 4 kids sometimes Pm's get away from me, but I always try to say one way or another if I'm interested or not...and if it takes me a few days and the coupons have already been traded, well it's my fault anyways so no hard feelings :) But yes, in general I agree, a yes or no is important and it is difficult to follow up if a few dyas have gone by

When I get no reply I just chalk it up to plain old rudeness.
Along the same frustrating lines is when someone PM's you about a trade, you reply that it's a go and then you don't hear from them again! HULLO?? You PM ME?! If I don't hear back within 5 days I put coupies back. I'm about to cut that back to 3 days when it's a trader I don't know.Quote:
