I switched from Colgate since Crest Pro-Health toothpaste was on sale. I have no problem using Crest, but I will switched back to Colgate after I finish all the Crest I have on hand. Reason? I don't have a clean feeling after using Pro-Health.

I haven't tried using this yet, but I happened to be at the dentist's office this afternoon for a cleaning. I asked the hygenist if she knew anything about it.
She said that in another dental office where she works, she cleaned someone's teeth that were quite badly discoloured from this toothpaste. It was easliy removed by the hygenist though. The problem is that you're not supposed to eat or drink anything for half an hour after you use it, this is what causes the discolouration.
So, not sure if I want to use it now! Still on the fence.

I picked up a tube of Crest Pro Health with a 500 ml Pro Health Rinse for a buck back around end of Sept. at a local Walmart. This was sold together in a package and picked up around 8 of them... Now that I have tried it to me it tastes more like a bubble gum toothpaste like tooo sweet. I prefer the Natures Gate Mint toothpaste and will not pick this up for myself again.

well son of a gun. I got a sample at the dentist last week and started using it and was just saying to DH the other day that the skin on the inside of my mouth is peeling off. Had no idea why. glad I read this thread and that I'm not the only one. I like the toothpaste as a whole so I'll probably carry on with it..thought $4 a tube yikes!

I just love this toothpaste. I do get the skin peeling but not as often as before.
But according to my dentist my gums have improved dramatically.
With all the coupons I got for save 2.00 I have around 10 months worth of tooth paste so I will be using it of awhile.

I had an interesting experience with this toothpaste the other day. I don't like it, so I had only gone back to it because I was out of my regular toothpaste. Well, I woke up yesterday morning to liquefied Crest Pro Health (almost a whole tube, if you can imagine) all over the inside of the bathroom cabinet. It had even seeped onto the open shelf below and onto the wall. The cap had come open slightly, and it had poured out like shampoo. I've never had toothpaste do this before! After the big cleanup, the bathroom and master bedroom are still smelling like mint. To me, there's hardly anything more horrible than the smell of toothpaste!

I find over time that i get this white stuff from inside my mouth and my son says it hurts his throat. My dental hygienist says people have had stains on their teeth. Well no more of Crest Pro Health and a phone call to them this wk for sure!
