Hi fellow Newfies!!

How is everyone? How many of us are on here?
& Where abouts is everyone from? I'm in rural Newfoundland,St.John's is at least 5 hours away...but its a beautiful city...I miss visiting it D:

I am not from NFLD but I have just came back there from holidays.This was my 3rd visit dowmhome. My boyfiriend and i took my 87 year old dad to visit his home province for 2 weeks. I just want to say that I loved it there & I would really like to retire therein the future. The people are so very friendly & warm! I love the scenery & the ocean!

We really hope to visit in Summer 2010.

Really; thats about the same distance I live from the city...wonder if we lived near each other? Out towards Gander? Or the other way?

Out towards Gander. It's about an hour from Gander and about 30 minutes from Twillingate.

Hello Newfoundlanders....does anyone know of a Paul Reid from your area? I know it's a big province, trouble is, I don't know where he has moved to..he is a Navy friend of my husband's, he was our roommate for a while and moved back to Nfld but I don't know where...he is about 37 or 38. Has a brother named Dave, and a sister, can't remember her name....his parents are divorced. He had a son named Bailey whom lives with his mother here in BC...if anyone knows of anyone that might sound familiar, please PM me! We miss him and have lost contact.
