mine are still okay.... though the doors and panels are solid wood, not particle board which are more subseptable to peeling.

I think we are on different pages for our kitchen's though-i want mine to last-i don't want to rip it all out in afew years
we bought top of the line appliances too my fridge was almost as much as all your appliances put together!-it is beatiful!
we saved and waited a long time to do it right. it depends what you want to do, i found you really get what you pay for. so wait for a sale or a deal on top quality and don't settle unless you are going to move in two years before it needs replacing!
