Make sure you get a VENTI! Make it worth your while!;)
thanks
Sorry to revive this thread. I've been putting off registering my card for a while and noticed that if you don't register by December 26/09 the program changes to offer benefits AFTER 5 beverages are purchased.
If you register before Dec 26 - you still get these benefits as a courtesy.... guess they have to make more revenue to offer that free internet & free second cup of java.
I am off to find my card!
Registering your Starbucks card is a great idea! I always get e-mails telling me that they have added $5 complimentary on my card!!!! Gotta love it!
thanks for posting this, i'll let my brother know, he's the star bucks addict in the family :) he'll appreciate knowing this
Apparently, the one kind of gift cards that DO have expiry dates are those prepaid cards by the credit companies (MasterCard & Visa) because they are under Federal law (so is banking). Check the Prepaid Visa contest thread for the article link on the matter.
The poster who mentioned the changes in the Starbucks program just provided regular Starbucks fans a reason to register their card before Christmas. Thanks for sharing!
I'm a little late in finding this post -- but thank you! I went to the website, and while it says the rewards are ready to change December 26, 2009 -- it's not too far off what it is now. They just want you to have '5 stars' (as in 5 transactions on your card) to offer stuff like the refills and 2 hours of wi-fi.
if you all didn't know then you must not go to starbucks very often/ever therefore knowing now would be pointless since of course as we just discussed you don't really go there.
I suppose I could post that you get free refills at mcdonalds because I'm ure not everyone knows that but the majority of the population is already aware of that............
thanks but no sc card
thanks great post :)
