it don't work...you need an actual Blu-ray player for a Blu-ray disc unless less you have a PS3 they have a Blu-ray player on them. A Blu-ray disc runs at a different speed then a DVD does they are more encoded with different things including the movie.

Since the Blu-ray Disc and HD-DVD formats are incompatible, due to differences in actual physical disc structure, you cannot play a Blu-ray Disc in an HD-DVD format player, nor can you play an HD-DVD in a Blu-ray Disc format player.

The double point dates were a holiday promo - at this time, they do not have any additional dates in 2010 planned.

Has anyone sent in the Movie Ticket Submission Form for movies you saw in theatres? I saw The Christmas carol and it says you have to send away the form with your ticket stubs but doesnt really say what you get for doing it. Anyone have experience with this?

Edit: I saw on the site that you get 50 points for the movie. Is this even worth the trouble of sending it off to the states and paying the postage?

We've done it several times - but I make a point of ensuring I've got 4 stubs minimum. Doesn't seem to warrant the postage for any less. KWIM?

I have submitted my stubs on several occasions and they gave me 125 points for two stubs so I think it is worth it. They also send you an e-mail when they have added the points to your account.

I just received my big huge Christmas Budderball my dog was actually scared of it lol. Was hoping for something else but Am tired of saving and having the item disappear and rumour is it is done in August 2010 so wanted something with all my savings!!!!

You're right, the program does finish in August. It's in the TORs... My goal is to get up to 1300 by the summer so I can get the cute mickey earings+pendant! I've always wanted mickey earings.

yeah the points do expire after awhile I found that out the hard way...when the points I had before expired I had like 175points then I had to start over from zero...it was a real pain in the arse.
