I save money throughout the year for Christmas gifts. I toss loose change in jars and roll them up. Those pennies, nickels and dimes sure add up. Never use my credit card for Christmas. I put the Christmas money I save, in a specially marked envelope, and take it with me shopping. That is the only money I can use for Christmas shopping. I write a budget for each person. In the past I have redeemed for gift cards with my credit card points, saved up SDM points, cashed out on paid surveys. Any little bit helps. Baking cookies, treats also make nice gifts :)

I put $100 away per month in an account for Christmas. I also shop all year long and pick up deals as I see them. Especially for stocking stuffers since I don't like to buy crap I pick up neat stuff all year long. I am really scanning the flyers now for deals.
