Awesome news, Skippy - I know it's tough to change habits (and 'wants')!
I'm thankful it's the weekend so I can spend more time with my husband and son who work hard all week - plus, they get a bonus holiday on Monday just given to them by the employer, so that's nice.
I see less of my son now that he's gotten a girlfriend, lol!Last edited by Natalka; Sat, Jul 11th, 2009 at 08:28 AM.

Today I am thankful for my wife. Without her I would be lost. She does a great job with our kids, and keeps me going as well. She just went back to work, and now I know how hard it is to take care of new twins by yourself, and she does it all the time. WOW!

I am thankful that the hailstorm we just had didn't do any major damage to my house or car and minimal damage to my gardem. It was very scary with hailstones up to an inch around.

I`m thankful that my husband has a good job that allows me to stay home with our boys, and that we can afford everything that we need and most of what we want.

I`m thankful we survived the tornado that went through our village Sat am. There were a lot of trees uprooted, a few landed on house roofs. A neighbour was killed when a tree branch fell on him. Hydro lines were down. A transformer broke on our street so the emergency response team was here this morning to clean up. We finally got power and water back tonight. We were so lucky, there was no damage at our house.
