Great book! But then again anything from Nicholas Sparks usually is. I just started reading "The Last Song".

My favs from him are "The Wedding" & "The Guardian". Would be cool if either was made into a movie.

I LOVED the guardian too!!

Not ALL Nicholas Sparks movies turned out well. Nights in Rodanthe was SO boring I turned it off lol... but I did like the book

Lately we have been watching alot of children's movies, but it's nice when they enjoy the ones we grew up with. And it's funny how they are putting in adult jokes in the new childrens movies. We really enjoyed Finding Nemo and Cars, and we went to see Up and I enjoyed it.

OMG since you're a music lover.. HIGHLY RECOMMEND IT!!!

It's an Irish film that they literally made in like 2 weeks. Glen Hansard (the male lead) is the lead vocalist in the band The Frames and since the movie, he's teamed up with Marketa Irglova in their new band The Swell Season. Check out their myspace! (for The Swell Season). I think they and their movie are BRILLIANT!!!

Not huge on Westerns, but if I have to sit thru them with the hubby, my pics would be Young Guns, Open Range, The Magnificent 7 and his fave The man from Snowy river and anything The Duke.

basically in the movie, the girl meets up with the guy and in like a week they record an album. i won't tell you about the story-line in between, but it's awesome
