Tried to post this earlier, but the whole webpage froze:

Something to consider when getting a Blackberry is that you often commit to another 3 year plan (unless you buy the Blackberry without a contract).

Then there's the dataplan - you have to sign up for a 1 year contract for that.

So if you have your Blackberry for a month and decide you hate it, or the bill is too expensive you can't just drop down to a 'regular' plan. You are locked into that dataplan (expensive) for the remainder of the 1 year period... or you have to buy out that contract, which is expensive also.
