And some just can not be controlled by their owners.

Dingle got bit in his puppy class. The lady and her dog got kicked out... apparently it was not the first class she'd been kicked out of either.

I don't know how much vision has - probably less than I think... he just seems to compensate and hide it well.

The annoying thing is that when I was training him I taught him hand signals incase he went deaf... not considering that fact that "hey, maybe he'll go blind".

That's horrible! My eldest dog (turning 14 on the 18th) was bit by a friend of our's dog, and her vocal box was punctured. She can barely bark now. You may consider trying to teach him vocal commands now while he still has some vision? We were taught to teach them both signals, but it is far more confusing for the dog!
