Since the roots are starting to show, I decided to get a box of hair dye while doing my grocery shopping at SOF today. I would normally get something like that at LD, but my will to boycott that store remains strong. Found a Clairol Natural Instincts bonus pack that came with the dye and a bottle of Pantene Nature Infusion Shampoo for $7.99. As I was leaving the store after I had paid, I noticed that I was charged $10.99 for the pack.
I went back to the display to make sure I didn't remember the price wrongly. The manager was there, so I had him double check it for me. He was very nice and apologetic and told me that he would call the service desk and that they would adjust it to the correct price for me.
I gave him a nice long look and said, "I understand that your store follows SCOP?"
He gave me a surprised look, paused and said, "I will let the service desk know that you are coming in for a refund."

i boycott with LD as well.i go there once in a month.when i wasnt aware of coupon stacking at LD i use to buy most of the stuff from LD.but knw things are changed now i knw about coupon stacking LD staff is mean knw...so who cares if i will get some stuff for free at LD i dont mind spending some $$$ on the same stuff..i will try to find some realy good deal then i will use my coupons.
for example:gillete venus set was on sale at SDM i used $4 off coupon(without any question) on that i just paid .99c ...i think it was awesome deal...so we have to find this kind of deals to totally boycott LD....
i am happy atleast i am not paying full amount...Last edited by ilovecoupons; Thu, Nov 26th, 2009 at 11:28 AM.

I think I must've missed something? Why are some folks boycotting LD?
I thought LD was a dream come true for the provinces that have them and all provinces that don't have it, wish they did!
