So Tues.Dec.1 is Customer Appreciation at Safeway. I have always taken the 10% off if there are items there that I want(this week they have chicken breasts on sale)..
However there are couple of other items that I purchase that have bonus airmiles..
Can anyone tell me if you elect to take the 10 times the Airmiles instead of the 10% off do you get 10 times the bonus airmiles on those products.
If you do that would be a way better deal as you can redeem 175 AM for $25 Rexall gift card..

It's only on your base airmiles.

If you have BMO airmiles mastercard or an AMEX airmiles card, charge your groceries and take the 10% discount.
You really need the credit cards to rack up the airmiles and banking at BMO helps a lot as well.

Yeah, I'm not sure who would take the airmiles - maybe if you're buying for a business and are writing off the cost anyway? I always take the 10%.

I just started using American Express but unfortunately not all business take it..like Superstore doesn't probably as they have their own reward system with a PC account..
