All the luck of picking the right cashier - I have been able to do that sometimes and sometimes get denied
lucky you, and yes it is stacking, since one coupon needed 2 products to work, you couldn't use a coupon on the other.
That's great! Feels good, doesn't it?
It cracks me up...because if you read the coupons all it says is that the store has to have bought sufficient stock to cover the coupons bla bla bla. I'm sure and large retailer buys enough to cover the coupons, I mean not everyone buying that product is using the coupons. I would try to encourage people to use the coupons. I'm sure London Drug sees a benefit from stacking or else they wouldn't allow it.
(I have never worked in a store so if my concept is screwed up I completely admit I don't know what I am talking about here!!!)
its not stacking for sure.
its the way you present the coupons. i just did the scrubbing bubbles thing at GT last week. I said these coupons on for the scrubbing bubbles. so she put them through. then i gave her the fanstastic and said "these are free with a purchase of scrubbing bubbles, which i purchased, with a coupon" had no problems at all.
i think thats fantastic, lucky you :-)
i never even thought to use two coupons before i joined here, i always assumed you couldn't. i'm waiting for an opportunity to do it. hope i'll get lucky too :-)
that is not stacking. you are using one coupon per product.
Yay for you! First time I tried doing that, I was denied. Then I saw others on here do it... so I tried again. Have yet to be denied again, but I think I've only done it twice... with Herbel Essences and Glade. Might just be the confidence in couponing I have now, lol.
BUT, honestly... I DO consider it stacking, and here is why. I'm not sure about Zellers policy," but Wal-Mart's states that they accept ONE COUPON PER PRODUCT (which seems like something that is universal). When you use a BOGO and $ off, BOTH coupons apply to BOTH products. The arugment of "one coupon per product/upc" is a smart argument to get around that, but to me... logically that is wrong. :)
That is stacking, you got lucky, but I wouldnt count on it happening all the time.
I dont consider it stacking, and agree its the way you present the coupons. I buy the first product with $1 off, then after, she scans in the second product, ( I have already bought the first one), I give her the Bogo coupon for it. I consider the $1 off as a form of payment for the first, and have not always put both products side by side on the belt, and I put the coupons on the products I want to apply them to, so she does it as she goes along. Only once a cashier questioned it, but put it through in the end. Maybe Ive just been lucky in the past but it makes sense to me.LOL
WTG!! I find it is hit or miss...usually miss but worth a try!!:)
it is stacking, this lady at walmart explained it to me. You are using a bogo coupon which applies to 2 products, so you cant go ahead and use a 1.00 coupon as well. does that make sense? lol she explained it better
No.
You are using the $1 coupon on the first product, and paying for the second product with the BOGO. It's still only one coupon per item, and you should NEVER have a problem using coupons in this fashion.
I do it all the time ... in fact, I got TWO free products (taxes only) at Zellers 2 weeks ago doing something similar; I had the GreenWorks FPC, and a $3 coupon when you buy the GW laundry soap + GW cleaner.... I paid for the laundry soap with the FPC, and the cleaner ($2.99) with the $3 WUB coupon. The cashier didn't think it was allowed, but his manager said "oh no, that's totally fine!". (and I have more problems at Zellers with coupons than anywhere else)
:)
i've never tried that.
