HOT, HOT, SIZZLING HOT!
It's 30 now, and the sun is shining. Sometimes it clouds over, but the heat never wavers. It's great with central air, I can escape it, but it's got to be tough on the elderly and young ones. I nearly felt like joining my hubby and our grandson in the pool this afternoon! I hope at least there's a cooling breeze for everyone this evening....
Otoh...'the kids' land in Vegas in a couple of hours and it's going to be +44 there tomorrow!

Gah! I have no idea how that happened, Walks....I had two windows open and one, I guess, didn't want to change colour or anything but I'm guessing I posted that one, then opened the other window to try again, and it did change the colour and font size.

I really need a keeper........

Mornin' everyone!!! Up early to spell off hubby at grandson's home....he slept there, and since he wants to go golfing this morning, I'm heading over there to be with our grandson then drive him to school.....{{{{yawn}}}}.....wow. It's early.

I hope everyone has a lovely day today....easy work day....and sunshine when you get home!!!!

Did you hear the planes doing their practice rounds? They've been flying in my area the past couple of days. My 16 year old son is an airplane nut, so he was rushing to the window to glimpse the planes as they roared by.

I like the cooler weather, but this rain has brought out a lot of mosquitoes!

Yes, heard them Friday - and again Sunday. Felt so badly for them that they had to cancel Saturday's show.

Glad today will be only 23, before we get blasted with the heat again mid-week.

well.....we have just had some rain, not torrential yet, but other areas of T.O. have had downpours since 5:00 p.m. massive flooding in Mississauga I think, and power is out to 80% Hydro One said. Downtown is without power in some places. Subways not working in same areas. Yikes, I'm crawling under the covers till this passes i think.
