I sort of thought something was going on, weather wise. Because when it gets "cold" on the west coast right near the ocean then you know there's a big weather system out there affecting a big area.
I know I shouldn't complain but we do have a special kind of cold here in Vancouver. Today was just above freezing and about 100% humidity. And with a wind and steady drizzle. Very fresh! And damp.
Oh, I had one quick glimpse of the North Shore mountains today and they are blasted with snow! If the sun comes out it will make for some great frosty picture taking opportunities.

Just before 5 a.m. and it's -21. Calm, though, which is okay.

Ok I know winter has just started but really what the heck is this.. It was -16 this morning when I got up but then with the wind chill factor it is -25 I live in BC so this is going to be one long winter.. So I was wondering what other places in Canada are like. I know back East can beat us here in BC when it comes to winter.. So bundle up folks here we go. When is summer again. I might thaw out by then..LOL

I`ve heard the horror stories about the cold weather out west. You have my sympathy.
We`re very very very lucky in Toronto. Today we had a high of +14. Supposed to go down to +3 in the next few days, with neg temps overnight. Personally, I prefer when the temp stays constant - the ups & downs give me a headache (literally).
I have a deal going with some SCers that downtown Toronto gets balmy temperatures while north of the city gets the cold & snow. Now, if I can convince Mother Nature to play along, life will be good.

Was 14 degrees here today, so I turned off the heat for a while.
It's supposed to drop overnight though.
