It rained rather heavily for a brief period late yesterday, but is currently 8c and sunny. We haven't had a frost yet,the lowest it's been is 3.5c.I HATE snow, and just want to send all you poor frozen people sympathy cards every time I read this thread. How on earth do you stand it?You could freeze to death in no time if you were stuck outside unprepared YUCK.No wonder Southern B.C. has such a homeless problem-I know of a few who came from back East just because of the weather here.

SummarySignificant amounts of snow are expected. A major winter storm is occuring and is expected to produce total snowfall amounts of 30 to 50 cm of snow by mid-day Wednesday. As of 11 AM EST today Chapleau has reported 23 cm of snow, Lake Superior Park about 20 cm and Wawa about 15 cm. Poor visibilities in snow and blowing snow are expected today and will continue into Wednesday morning. There is some potential for freezing rain in the Kirkland Lake and Gogama regions this afternoon.
DetailsConsider postponing non-essential travel until conditions improve. Surfaces such as highways, roads, walkways and parking lots may become difficult to navigate due to accumulating snow. Prepare for quickly changing and deteriorating travel conditions. Surfaces such as highways, roads, walkways and parking lots may become icy and slippery. Take extra care when walking or driving in affected areas. Public Safety Canada encourages everyone to make an emergency plan and get an emergency kit with drinking water, food, medicine, a first-aid kit and a flashlight. For information on emergency plans and kits go to http://www.getprepared.gc.ca/ Winter Storm Warnings are issued when multiple types of severe winter weather are expected to occur together. Environment Canada meteorologists will update alerts as required, so stay tuned to your local media or Weatheradio. Email reports of severe weather to [email protected] or tweet with the hashtag #ONStorm.
I can't profess to understand God's plan. Christ promised the resurrection of the dead. I just thought he had something a little different in mind.
