We "only" got to -27 with windchill today, thankfully. Couldn't take that as it was as I was out at 7 am. Staying indoors tomorrow with expected repeat in temperatures and snow squalls.

Windchill -25, too cold. We are taking the kids ice skating this afternoon in a rink that is not heated. Should be an interesting adventure in this temperature. All the kids will be fine. We will all freeze, lol.

Another day with an extreme cold warning...

-40 windchill, temp is -28. Only going up a few degrees.

It's cold!!! ^not as cold as that...brrrr...-10 feels like -21, a couple of nights ago it turned mild and poured rain, then turn cold again, so everything now is iced over; and very slippery!

Cold, cold and more cold! Lately this cold weather seems to go straight to my bones! And im feeling colder than usual this winter. Dunno, could be old age! lol Hubby says i should wear socks in my boots but my feet need to breathe! I hardly ever wear socks.

It was -1C feeling like -3C this morning-I LIKE THAT! Actually felt overheated today with the coat (cuffs on sleeves), gloves and hood on. Had to take hood down or gloves off.

For the colder days, I recommend taking a pair of microfibre tights and cutting the legs off until you get something about bicycle shorts length. You'll keep abdomen warm by wearing the cutoffs under pants but won't overheat like you would wearing a full pair or wearing long johns. Just have to keep that skin moisturized or you'll feel like sandpaper.

I'm not a fan of cold/damp weather. One hand takes exception to feeling lousy then. Only so much tea one can drink as well (but the more fragrant the better it goes down).

The weather network says it's -13 windchill here. It snowed yesterday, so I would expect some roads to be a bit slippery.

-12 feels like -23, snow and blowing snow..really windy!! was going to take my snowmobile for a spin today but might have to wait for the weather to clear away and check out the snow drifts later !
