We had boat races scheduled today--ALL postponed due to high winds, so disappointing as we all worked hard to make it happen...today +8 feels like +4, light rain, winds 42 km with 62km/hr gusts..the race can go ahead once the wind drops to 15 knots which will probably be tomorrow morning...hopefully the race can go ahead if the seas are not too rough...fingers crossed!!

The boat races went ahead!!!! yippee...and it was a big success...I didn't go to bed until 4:30 this morning and then got a text at 8:30 saying to be on the wharf by 9:00..yikes..but I made it...the seas were choppy , it was soooo cold +7, right on the water too so prob cooler (terrible summer so far) ..we decided at 10:00 am to go ahead with the race at noon..so then it was a mad panic..it was a huge success and I enjoyed every minute
