..we had a storm last weekend, 50+cm of snow, Monday evening it rained and got rid of most of the snow..yesterday is was -10 (-21 with the windchill) this afternoon it's suppose to be +7 (with rain) and tomorrow 10-15cm of snow in the forecast..lol...

..we currently have a Freezing Rain Warning and Wind Warning ...suppose to get 10-15 of snow and then turn to freezing rain and some really high winds..forecasting 131km/hr gust so it will probably be a little higher here...could possibly lose the power with freezing rain and high winds....another weekend storm!

..rough weather day, everything is coated with a thick layer of ice from the freezing rain/rain this morning and then we had a flash freeze...a few trees down...we had no internet this morning, and no power for about an hour this afternoon...and then cell service went this evening (?) internet is back but still no cell service which is really odd...-8 feels like -18, icy!!!

..its a beautiful, cold Super Bowl Sunday ...sunny morning, -5 feels like -11, winds are 18km/hr but gusting to 85km/hr by this evening with a few cm of snow
..everything is still sparkling from all the ice

SummaryTwo potential winter storms for Monday night into Wednesday. A significant winter storm is forecast to develop off the eastern seaboard of the United States today and then slowly track northeastward towards Newfoundland Monday. Snow from this system is forecast to reach the south coast of Newfoundland Monday night before spreading across the remainder of the island Tuesday. Most areas will see significant snowfall, strong winds and blowing snow. However, temperatures are forecast to rise across southeastern areas Tuesday, resulting in a transition from heavy snow through ice pellets and freezing rain to rain. A second system is now forecast to follow quickly on the heels of this first system Tuesday night into Wednesday. While additional snowfall and strong winds can be expected with this system, it is not forecast to be as intense as the initial system on Tuesday. The exact track of these two storm systems remains uncertain at this time.
