A mixed bag of precipitation is expected Tuesday night and Wednesday.
A low pressure system approaching from the Great Lakes is forecast to track northeastward along the St. Lawrence River Tuesday night and then move into southeastern Labrador late Wednesday.

Snow will begin over southwestern Newfoundland Tuesday evening and spread northeastward during the night. The snow will transition through ice pellets and freezing rain to rain on Wednesday over all areas of the Island.

At this time, the highest snowfall accumulations are expected over the Great Northern Peninsula, with the highest rainfall accumulations along the south coast. Further details on the potential impacts of this system will become available in subsequent forecasts.
