^ you are so lucky. It has been very cold here and not much warm weather in the forecast, gosh, it has to warm up a little soon +2 feels like -1
SPECIAL WEATHER STATEMENT
Issued at 05:36 Monday 28 May 2018
Rain and wind for Tuesday and Wednesday, with snow possible in the northwest.
A low pressure system forecast to cross southern Newfoundland on Tuesday night will bring significant rain and blustery northerly winds to much of the Island on Tuesday and Wednesday. Rain will begin along the west coast tonight, spreading eastward across the Island during the day on Tuesday and then persisting on Wednesday. The rain may become mixed with snow in the west and parts of central Newfoundland on Tuesday night, especially over higher terrain. It is likely that the highest rainfall amounts will exceed rainfall warning criteria of 50 millimetres by Wednesday night in some areas.
Brisk northerly winds are expected to develop behind the low beginning in the west on Tuesday night, with gusts possibly reaching 100 km/h at times along parts of the coast.
At this time, there is still significant uncertainty in the strength and track of the low pressure system. Meteorologists at Environment Canada will continue to monitor its development and provide updates as further information becomes available.
