SPECIAL WEATHER STATEMENT
Issued at 04:59 Monday 25 June 2018
Wet weather early this week.
Rain will spread across most of Newfoundland today. The rain is expected to become heavy at times in some areas tonight. Current guidance indicates the potential for rainfall amounts to meet or exceed warning criteria tonight into Tuesday over some areas. But there remains some uncertainty in the exact locations of the heaviest rainfall.
Additionally, parts of northeastern, central, and western Newfoundland could see the rain becoming mixed with or changing over to wet snow overnight tonight and Tuesday morning. Motorists are advised to prepare for adverse driving conditions if planning any travel tonight and Tuesday morning.
Meteorologists at Environment and Climate Change Canada will continue to monitor this system and provide updates as new information becomes available.

Took a gang , threatened rain all day then poured on
our heads at 3pm. No one melted , kids had their
farmer boots, all good.
