It is a bright sunny day, which makes up for the cold. I don't mind snow as long as it sparkles at me. We have gone through a lot of wood in February because our main source of heat is a very efficient airtight stove. There is a back-up pile that we didn't manage to get into the garage in time so the extra wood is under snow. If there is enough of a melt we'll get the stray pile into the garage. Otherwise, we only have about 10 days of logs left, and electricity is so *&^% expensive. I get really, really ornery about paying bills and fees I think are out of line.
