Okay, okay so I finally figured out the shortest way from Orlando airport to West Palm.
After you exit the rental car counter you turn left at Denny's , right at McDonald's , cross three runways
till you get to Auto Zone, right at Auto Zone past Walgreen's onto the turnpike,
then second star to the right, and straight on till morning.
Simple.
Not entirely legal.
Just simple.

windy & rainy +8 feels like 4, tomorrow & Saturday is supposed to be nice (no rain/wind) going to the cabin for the weekend (although may come home Saturday evening if the forecast is poor for Sunday i.e too windy for the boat)

This past week was temps going into the plus single digits, occasional snow which melted.
However, overnight we got a fair bit of snow, and are to get more the next few days. Forecast is maybe for a brown Halloween, though.
Now it's -9, wind-chill -17 - will go up a few degrees.
Good timing for our van, our son put on new studded winter tires on Saturday.

The rain has started ... let it RAIN RAIN RAIN .. am really looking forward to two days of solid rain. Can sit inside with the fire, a glass of wine or martini, and be cozy with the cats!

..it POURED rain here this morning 20-30mm at least, probably more..winds are gusting to 65km/hr and going to go up to 85km/hr later--not a very nice night!

Most of the pretty leaves are on the road now.
A few branches broke off the old timers.
