Its blustery here today! Not stormy, just windy & flurries! Excited to say there's 8 inches of ice in the ponds and we have some snow so snowmobiling will be able to happen in the very near future!

Boxing Day! It is gently flurrying outside (is that even a word). Cold but not freezing cold, not the kind that the cold goes right through your bones.

Finally getting up to around 0 today-it has been a long cold snap and it will be back tomorrow-yuck.

A walrus was spotted in Grates Cove, NL on New Years Day. So amazing! wish I could've seen him/her in person! The walrus was gone the next day so its assumed it was just resting on the way to where it was trying to go

The weather here has been terrible! Monday it was +8 and it poured rain all day; and yesterday +6 and it rained all day, we have no snow left. Now we have a blizzard headed our way starting overnight into Saturday 35-40 cm of snow. Wind for a few+ hours tomorrow afternoon will be 100km/hr gusting to 150km/hr+

Currently -20 but expected to be above freeing next week-thank goodness.

We still have our power! Got about 25 cm overnight and another 10-15cm for today, the wind is supposed to ramp up this afternoon for a few+ hours and start dropping out around 11-12am...-8 feels like -20 for tonight
