Right now it's cold but nothing else. No snow, no wind. I feel like it's the calm before the storm as we ar suppose to get freezing rain and snow. This is going to be a long winter for us I think.

And the freezing rain has started, we are suppose to get 2-3cm of it. It's already started to accumulate on the trees.

Hoping those of you with more snow, freezing rain are safe on the roads if you are going out!
Here, it's just dealing with the (*&$#^% fargin' cold...
Now it's -48 w/c, temp is -36.
It's supposed to warm up a few degree, forecast for some snow later.
Had the power go out last night for almost four hours; got to 13 degrees in the house.

It's a beautiful day here now..sunny -5 feels like -11, warm compared to temps over the past couple of weeks ..but that's about to change, we have freezing rain on the way mixed with 100km winds, what a mess that's going to be!!! It's too bad as everything right now is perfect for snowmobiling, etc..

Natalka are you sending the cold our way? We are in for some -30 to -40 windchills today and tomorrow. UGH. NOT looking forward to it! We are in an apartment, BUT we are on the 2nd floor, above an open concrete garage AND the end corner unit. So it gets very cold here when the temps are below -25ish.
Right now we are under a flash freeze warning, but my husband has an appointment at 1 so we have to go out in it. Yay. Stay safe and warm everyone!

It is warming up outside. It is currently -32 and -44 with the wind chill. The wind chill was about -65 last night. On Friday we had rain, freezing rain, sleet, then snow, and a blizzard (in that order). The roads actually aren't currently as bad as I had anticipated.
