Gorgeous day here.
Good to be back in the Six after a two week trip out west. Visited the plots of my mother, father, grandfather and grandmother in Saskatoon. Then did the Ukrainian golden triangle and visited siblings in Edmonton and Vegreville. A totally ukie experience!
Now back in Toronto and have planted all my veg for the season and herbs and added a few more successful perennials to the yard.
Plenty of birds this year. Blue jays, cardinals, robins, goldfinches etc. now also getting hummingbirds as we added a hummingbird feeder to the yard.
The plants are coming up amazingly well this year given the horrid winter and spring. All in all I hope it will continue and be a bumper crop year.
Time to sit on the veranda with some brews and watch the world go by.
