Hubby and I recently came into some extra cash, so last night we decided to go and get a Costco membership. I was standing in line at CS when a lady behind me said "Did I hear you right, your signing up for a membership?" I said "yes" and she "well if you want, use me as a reference and we can both get a $10 cash card", she then tells me she used to work at Costco, so I said "great". Of course who would pass up free money right. So my turn comes and I get up to the till and she tells the CS lady to give me her $10 off too! To my amazement I turned around shocked and said "thank you very much". So what I thought I was going to be paying the $55 for I only ended up paying $35 for a 1 yr membership! Needless to say we went in right away and spent $45 but thats besides the point! LOL

That's so great! And I'm even more amazed that you managed to ONLY spend $45!! Costco is the worst, I go in there for $10 worth of stuff and without fail will walk out of there with $300 worth of stuff.
Costco is the devil.
