How is the shopping in Sudbury?

I'm moving to Sudbury in the new year. I'm wondering how you all do with finding deals and what stores you have?

There must be a Zellers and Walmart; is it a Super Walmart?
How many Shoppers? Any Rexall? Canadian Tire?
What about grocery stores:
Superstore?
Loblaws?
Fortinos?
Zehrs?
No Frills?
Sobeys?
IGA?
Foodland?
Price Chopper?
Metro?
A&P?
Dominion?
Food Basics?

Hi Sunshine. I don't have a toddler but I can tell you which stores we have lol.

We have Zellers and Wal-Mart and a Walmart Supercenter opening up in the New year. We have 2 Shoppers in Sudbury itself and a couple on the outskirts I think lol.

Lots of Rexalls, 2 Canadian Tires. Giant Tiger.
As for Grocery stores, we have RCSS, Foodland (In Garson), Metro , Food Basics and Independents. I don't think we have any others, but these are the ones I go to if there are any good deals. I do most of my shopping in the New Sudbury area, but once the WalMart Supercenter opens I may have to add it to my list lol.

There are a few places I might miss but I do most of my shopping at RCSS.
Is there a GoodLife - Women + Kids over the store? I have to transfer my membership or something.

Hi there! I'm a little late getting to this post (just joined) so you might already be here...but I'll answer anyways.

There are 2 goodlifes...one in New Sudbury and one in the Southend.

There are actually 3 Shoppers DM - 1 New Sud, 1 Southend, 1 Riverside

The old A&P stores are all Metro's now (the same province wide, A&P, Dominion, Ultrafoods - they all are rebranding under Metro)

The Walmart Supercentre is open (Southend).

We also have pretty much any chain store you would find elsewhere.

Also, there will be a new RCSS opening up in the Southend so there will be 2 in Sudbury.
