oh my goodness....
this game is nothing like it was when I was little. Its smaller, barely any marbles and the whole thing is like a puzzle to put together, lever is harder for the toddlers to push and the whole thing is so light and unsturdy it flies across the floor.
I think the old saying for this is fitting...
If It aint broke, don't fix it.
Save your money and get an "antique" one from kijiji or ebay, will likely last longer and keep the kids interest longer since is much bigger and easy for little kids to push the lever. This thread is currently associated with: Ebay

Wow, really?
I had this game when I was a kid, was SO fun. With surplus Hasbro coupons, I asked our son's daycare what game they would like for me to buy if I found a deal, and this is what they asked for. So I bought it for them! I do think they're enjoying it while I taught my son a lesson about giving.
That does suck if it's not as good as it was in the past.

we bought that game a few years back and it kept on sticking wasn't too impressed with the quality let alone trying to figure out how to fit it back into the box without the box falling apart

Same with Battleship, totally cheaper quality! We got this for Chistmas in our house and the pegs keep falling out and you have to share one board so you have to sit funny. Good thing it was almost free.

Yep I totally agree with you, I bought it for my daughter and it was a pain in the butt to put together/take apart and the heads kept sticking in the middle of playing.

Maybe it is a pain to assemble but it is a great game!
