yeah I think it just dosn't want to change because I set it at default and it is still white : ( lol I can't see a thing

I can see your profile (it looks like it is on default)
Try going to your profile and ht Control+F5 together and see if it has just saved the white in your computer's memory

guessing it is the new norm, that after you click 'likes' or 'reps' you can never see them
again?

You can always see them again
Click settings and scroll down and your reps are there under subscribed threads
Click profile, likes received & you can see likes there
(for both you can see the reps and likes you gave too)

The like button seems to disappear randomly and then reappear. I know it's not just me either.
Is there supposed to be no like button on posts made before it was introduced? JC:)
Like has a time limit on it, so older ones wont have them
It only disappears after you quick reply and others have commented, refresh and it will appear

Forum Expert is looking into it, it seems to be a server issue but he/she is using the other thread they started so maybe ask there
is there any way the facebook contests could be separated from the blog contests?
Doubt it, adding extra sections causes issues - not that many people post them in the correct sections anyway
It might be possible to add facebook / twitter / blog as a prefix
