I thought I would post it incase it happened to other people, and its funny because 3 people private messaged me agreeing and they said that it has happened to them as well. Not sure why they didn't post it on the thread, but some people don't like to deal with confrontation.

Again, thanks for editing the blog, but it was almost on the next page now and the other member got the credit first, so it really didn't make a difference to put me after them.

I am just saying mods should search and make sure someone else hasn't posted before they add it on the blog and give someone else credit. If I hadn't noticed for a while I wouldn't have received the credit at all. And it does take time to post deals in the thread when you are adding photos and such to it, so it's nice to get the credit!

I am not blaming you, bc you did fix it when I messaged you- I shouldn't have had to message you though

Edit: We are told to make sure we use the search feature and make SURE we aren't reposting, mods should have to do the same before posting on the blog- that's my general things to fix about SC!

(I personally am not going to cry in the corner over it, but some people may feel otherwise)

They likely didn't post it here in the thread because it's really not a huge problem. If someone gets missed once in a while, I'm sorry but it's going to happen. Just send us a quick PM and it takes 2 seconds to edit a blog. And yes it will happen from time to time, but we can definitely try to be more aware.

If two people post the same offer and i'm aware of it i try to give credit to both people. so whether your name is first or second on the "thank you to so-and-so" really should not matter. However if it's important to you personally then I will put your name first if the deal comes from you in the future.

Also, I will attempt to be more thorough in searching now knowing that some people see it as a bigger issue.

PM me (or another mod) with the username/name/address and one of us will update the first post in the blacklist thread with the required info.

As I have said constantly here, please, PM a mod or report a post if something in a thread needs to be changed. If a coupon is expired, if a freebie is dead, if a contest is over, if you see something offensive written, report it. We do our best, but we don't see it all. And yes sometimes, we just even come on to search for deals ourselves. It's what brought us to SC, just like everyone else.

I do but not all other traders doI do a lot of trades and would like to know the address to avoid.Over half the traders in the hall of shame do not have there address posted and they should.I think that if the 3rd trader is not posting it a mod should step in and find out what it is and post it.

I've had no problems. Have you tried clearing your cache/cookies/using a different browser?

i've cleared everything, used different browsers, restarted my computer.. it only started happening about a week or so ago.. and it's constant now! it's soo frustrating.. and hard to search the site when more then half the posts i click on to read.. i get the error

Weird. I am totally not getting it either. Can you give an example of a post that does it? Are you using IE or firefox?

A little request.. (and please correct me if this exists and I just can't find it..)

I'd like the space where you udpate your own personal coupon list to be much larger. It's too crowded and hard to navigate for those of us with lots of coupons. Full size page, please!!!!

It IS in Shopping Deals and Flyers right now. It may get moved to Shopping Discussion (not Discuss and Request Deals and Coupons) because it's a topic of discussion, not a deal for everyone.
