SORRY THIS TOOK SO LONG TO POST DEALSNIFFER!!!! We ended up being gone most of the day & I didn't have time to post before we left :(
So as I was changing the second of many diapers today, I heard a knock at my door. I wasn't expecting anyone, so I'm thinking hmmmmm who's here? :shrug: My kids of course start going bananas because they just LOVE visitors!! So as I'm trying to wrap my little dude in his diaper, toss it outside, wash my hands & then get to the door, I'm saying "I'm coming, I'll be right there!" whilst my children are running around in circles like mad dogs:lolsign: I manage to hop over the both of them & get down the stairs.....I open the door...............and DEALSNIFFER is there with a big box in her hands :omg: I was SO super excited, especially because I got her for this exchange as well :top: It was awesome to finally put a face to the name as we've all been trying to get together in this area to do a meet-up/coupon swap, etc & I haven't been able to meet anyone yet due to childcare issues :-~ We got to chat for a few minutes (she had to run & my hellions were trying to escape.....one sans pants.....into the chilly outdoors) and I offered up my place to meet at so hopefully we can all make it happen soon! As soon as I got the box upstairs my kiddos were all over it, trying to see what was inside - everything was wrapped up all nice & pretty and on the very top was an amazing handmade card :flowers: You are SO talented!!! I can't even cut a straight line, let alone do crafty things (my poor, poor children -eek!) I absolutely LOVE everything, you did a terrific job :) :) :) :) And let me tell you, the kids were just thrilled with all of the things they received as well! There was a lot of bargaining that had to be done in order for me to get the pictures taken before they were into the chocolates, suckers & candies :lolsign: THANK YOU SO VERY, VERY, VERY MUCH FOR EVERYTHING!!! I'm so grateful for everything & it was very special that you included my babies too!! I am especially ecstatic about the coffee since I pretty much have it mainlined into my veins each day ;)
So here's the pictures I took & I'll give a run-down on everything I was so generously gifted with!
- 3 Paperback novels (which I've already started one!)
- Can of coffee
- Tub of gummy hearts (YUM-O! I'm not a chocolate person, but I LOVES me gummy candies!!)
- 2 notebooks
- Flashing valentines pen
- Fuzzy slipper socks (which I've got on right now since it's a chilly night!)
- Barrettes (my daughter was over the moon that these were for her!)
- 2 Hair scrunchies
- Bouquet of rose suckers (these are all gone already LOL)
- 4 children's books (they were so excited for these, my kids inherited my love of books so we read them each twice before bed tonight!)
- Popcorn Art (we did this craft before bed & it turned out really cool!)
- Tons of stickers (which my daughter promptly confiscated, along with the shiny pink notebook, declaring it her "super-special-berryrific-beautiful-sticker-book-that-Alex-is-not-allowed-to-touch-K Mom? She's 4......that should explain it all ;) )
- Heart shaped notepad
- 9 mini-Hershey bars (these are also gone already!)
- package of Bear Paws (and these are eaten up too!)
- Canada temporary tattoos....which are now all over my babies
- Cool flashing wiggle ball, my DS claimed this one as soon as he saw it
- Variety of coupons :top: Hee hee!!!
- She also wrote me a lovely letter, you are too kind & sweet!! You did a terrific job, and I can't express how appreciative I am :cheesygrin:

I am sooooooo glad you liked it BFmamaof2! I thought with your kids that the food would not last long. lol I thought I would include stuff for your babies too because who doesn't like gifts right? Plus I had some of it on hand and I am glad it could go to good use! :) I used to teach preschool sundayschool and so I had some stickers still that I thought your children would love. I am glad the popcorn art thing turned out! I wasn't sure about it if it would work but I thought I would take a chance on it! I had sooooooooooooooo much fun shopping for you too! I am glad you like the books too-the ones for you I was completely just guessing and wasn't sure if you would like them and you seemed to have a similar taste in books as me so I thought if I thought it sounds good that you might like it. The books for your kids-I was not sure if I picked out the right age range for them and stuff and I have been wondering and somewhat worried I had picked out hte wrong ones! But I am sooo happy they are good! oh I am so happy the flashing ball was a hit too! I am still chuckling over it! thinking back I guess I should have bought a blue or green one since your son took it! lol oh well. lol I was worried with my luck for timing that I would catch you at a bad time or you would not be home so sorry about that! Sorry I had to run-I didn't want to keep you too long since I sort of just showed up! Also my dad was waiting in the van. Seriously I had so much fun shopping and I am so glad you enjoyed it as well! oh we totally have to make a meet happen this month! Your kids seem sweet too! I can't see any photos tho? maybe it is my computer?

oh I thought I should add that when I went to the dollar store shopping for BFmama that I found the craft isle and probably would have bought the whole isle if I had the money to do so! lol I was like a kid in a candy store! Oh I am in the process of making a scrapbook page from the one kit that BFmama got me too! sorry I am so happy that you loved it BFmama!!! that makes me so happy! I have been so excited to drop it off and it was so hard to keep quiet! anyways that is all now. lol

haha they are showing up now! that is a cute pic of your son and the ball! he looks like he is enjoying it! I don't know how long it will flash for-I am not sure what makes it flash but I hope it lasts awhile!
