any idea what it would cost to mail a dvd?
    is it worth it?
It's $2 +change to mail a DVD (in a case) in a bubble wrap envelope... within Canada. Hopefully it's about the same to the States. Hope this helps!

DVD's to the US: If you're mailing through the post office, be SURE to ask that it goes light packet air. Surface will take FOREVER and you will probably end up refunding credits, as there is no tracking. Right now is the middle of the Christmas rush, so it still may take ~3 weeks to arrive. You HAVE to warn the people bidding, so you don't end up with an angry bidder who wanted a Christmas present, and now wants a credit refund. (You don't get tracking/insurance with light packet air).

If you weigh it, and it is more than 100g, it is going to cost you ~$5. If it is 100g or under, it is going to cost you $2.48 (that's with the Venture one, small business discount).

Long story short, it it's over 100g, find a way to make it less than 100g, lol. Change from a bubble wrap envelope to manilla, and wrap it in an extra sheet of paper to protect it from "rubbing" damage. If there's a ton of inserts, and they're not needed (advertising, etc..) get rid of them. Some people ship the insert/cover/DVD but not the actual plastic case - then you will surely be under 100g, just be sure to mention that you're shipping that way in your auction. You may get less bids because of it though.

    Good luck!

I LOVE amazon!!! I wish there were more items on amazon.ca though, I hate paying the shipping (and there are many things they won't ship to Canada).

I ordered 2 Fireman Sam DVD's for Christmas for my little guy from Amazon.ca - he's going to be sooo excited

I won a pizza pizza gift card today...mmmm...pizza!!
