Thanks for the support I always get from you guys on all my auctions.
I really appreciate it.
I had to file a dispute on an auction and it was fully supported by the seller. My credits were returned very quickly after I had waited the appropriate time to file.
I think I'm going to have to file another dispute as soon as Listia allows it. I just won an auction for a Pampers code and the seller "very graciously" gave me an "extra" code and guess what - both codes are the two newest FREE codes that Pampers have released. Grrrrrr.
Well maybe she'll come through with a code before it comes to a dispute.
And then on the other end - the auction I had listed for Lean Cuisine codes, the winner was from the US!!!
She was the one who figured out why they wouldn't work for her and I've messaged her three times asking her to file to get her credits back but instead of doing that she gave me a positive rating!!!
Some people can be soooo nice.
Anyway, after a very rocky start, I think I'm getting the hang of this.
I do wish finding pictures were a little easier, but oh well.
Thanks everyone for all being so great.

Yes, gift or not, you can get charged duty. If it's coming via USPS/Canada Post, duty seems to be "randomly" assigned. They have the cheapest brokerage rates as well, if you are assessed duty. I've had many parcels over $20 not be charged any duty/customs fees.
UPS and FedEx are a different story! If you are assessed duty, they charge huge brokerage fees and you still have to pay duty as well. Last time I was assessed, the brokerage fees were more than half the value of the item (~$12 I think??) and then you pay the GST on the item's value.Want another way to earn free amazon.ca or amazon.com gift certificates?? I average $15 a week!! You can even cash in for paypal without it "costing" you more points!!
