Some things there are just regular prices.That's why I say get a price check then you can say no thanks if it's too expensive.The small Mazola oil they had were $3 half the size of regular size Mazola.One regular Mazola corn oil at regular price would have been cheaper than two small Mazola corn oil.

It was easy to assume that is why you said to get a price check.

My "rant' was not about you. Nothing to do with you. But rather Sobey's and the silly "clearance" end. My problem came with how many of one "clearance" item I'd buy if the price was right. I grabbed 1 can of mushrooms.. and thought, "well wait, if this is a good price, I'm going to want more... but if I take too many and the price is not right, I'm not buying any of them and leaving them at the checkout." SO I took 2 to checkout. Didn't get either cuz they were too much, but even if they were cheap, I'd likely NOT have gone BACK to get more. They're loss. It's a mess. I know from working in a grocery store (RCSS) that this end is NOT what management likes to see. I don't understand why it's been like that for so long. And I am going to investigate! lol

Oh I know your post wasn't about me.I too was referring Sobeys too and it's regular price clearance section.I won't be posting about it until they put individual price tags on the grocery clearance up and they have price tags on their health and beauty clearance end aisle so they should be able to do the same for grocery clearance end aisle.

Advertised on the front page of Co-op flyer has $0.95 a lb utility turkey.They were Granny's turkeys.There was a lot of smaller turkeys in the freezer at the Co-op Plaza Centre Co-op downtown.I got a turkey for $7.11.
